Artist Statement
Drawing has become very cathartic for me. It allows me to express my ideas and views of the outside world. This is why I prefer to draw about life in the outside world instead of life in prison, especially when it involves the LGBTQ+ community, in which I am a proud member of.
Bio
Spark took an interest in art and drawing back when he was still in grade school, and took many classes up until he graduated high school. Since then his interests in art sort of fell to the wayside, but when COVID hit Spark decided to take another chance at drawing again as a way to keep himself busy and occupied during the COVID lockdown, and now he uses his art as a way to express his ideas and views of the world outside of prison.
