I create because sometimes my mind races and when I stop and explore an idea on paper I suddenly feel still and focused. If I was forced to choose one item to draw with for eternity, it would be a black ink pen. " My pen is my blade. My blade contains my soul ". I hope people enjoy my work and capture the expression of my pen strokes and the flow of my line. My art has meant many things to me at various times, but most of all my art has been my center. It has been my soul.

Kinoko works mostly with permanent black ink pens and design markers. She loves comic style art starting from her childhood influences like Mad Magazine and Heavy Metal. Kinoko's art has been shown in murals, magazines, on clothing, at raves, in advertising, in personal collections, and on the walls of countless people. My current inspiration comes from my friend Casper and the anticipation of what comes next...
